How about Habitat

Experience and compare firsthand the variety of habitats Maryland has to offer. Explore stream, lake, wetland, meadow, and forest habitats and examine their inhabitants, structure, and ecological role in the greater environment. Available throughout the year. Offered as a single lesson or a series of lessons. We can also come to your school to do a pre-lesson to better prepare students for their field experience. Age range is Kindergarten to 5th grade. Location is Black Hill Visitor Center or can be flexible. Curriculum support for: skills and processes, earth/space, life, and environmental.
