Harford Glen Overnight Residential Program

Students who attend this residential, overnight program learn about stream sampling, wildlife trackers, hiking, impact identifying, composting, recycling, campfires (skits) and natural resource literacy. A schoolyard habitat program also available.

Stream Waders Program

This program is a volunteer stream sampling component of the Maryland Biological Stream Survey. Participants collect samples of benthic macroinvertebrates in various watersheds throughout the county.

Wetland Ecology

This trip is designed to introduce students to the ecology of the tidal wetland and floodplain forest. Students will use global positioning systems technology (GPS) to locate the sampling sites. At each site, students will collect sediment samples for analysis in the classroom.
