All 14 schools in the county are getting a new outdoor classroom

As a key part of Bay restoration, students from grades K-12 are adopting, investigating, and taking action to restore the health of their local stream. The program will introduce your students to the amazing natural features of streams right in their own communities, making rigorous learning as much fun as it is beneficial.

The 2019 Chesapeake Bay Environmental Literacy Leadership Summit highlighted the challenges and explored possible solutions to the equitable distribution of environmental education resources and opportunities. The Summit explored systemic environmental education and how it can drive diversity, equity and inclusion.

On May 18, 2019, celebrate Kids to Parks Day—a nationwide celebration of the great outdoors organized by the National Park Trust designed to connect kids and families with their local, state, and national parks and public lands.

Teachers on the Estuary (Tote) is a workshop designed to support teachers’ understanding of Chesapeake Bay issues through participant-driven field experiences and authentic research.
